Grandpa Jim, Chelsea, Clint and I all
went on a family Jeep trip together. This was
my 3rd time at the Harrison park and Jim's first. We all had a great time
and plan
to go back soon, so we'll have more pictures. We are going to do Coyote
Creek
backwards next time so that will be really challenging, but a lot of fun.
Enjoy
the pictures! I'll add captions as I get time.
Here is our "fleet"
This is Grandpa trying out my Scrambler for the
first time! This was right after he did a wheel
stand with it.
The rock garden, I don't know anybody who has
been through it yet. It is surrounded by
sticky red clay so traction is very hard to get.
This was when Clint was driving the TJ through
the trenches, he did really good!
From Coyote Creek, this is the best trail on the
property in my opinion.
Grandpa and I were the first ones to try a new
trail that Tony was cutting.
Grandpa showing off his TJ's articulation in the
creek bed
My turn
This was one of the large waterfalls on the creek
bed.
Don't ask me why I threw up a "peace"
sign, I just felt like doing something goofy
Here is another picture from the trail we blazed,
of course pictures never do any obstacle justice.
It was harder than it looks, I had trouble getting traction due to all of the
leaves on the ground.
Coming down into Coyote Creek on a very steep
incline.
This is the other part of the trail we opened up,
the rocks were huge on this side so we went
down them, someday we'll try to go up once the brush is out of the way.
Here is Grandpa in my Scrambler again.
This was Clint in the TJ, he got high centered on
a large rock so I came up behind him
and pushed him over. Nobody wanted to hook up the winch in the mud!
Here is Clint again, Grandpa was running the
winch. They got high centered and sideways
on that log. When the tires don't touch the ground, there isn't much you
can do.
Pop Up trail, it's a nice little hill
climb. This is the same trail where I
broke the front driveshaft on my Dodge.
Another picture of Clint in the trenches.
Clint, Chelsea and I all talking and enjoying a
lunch break.
Here is a cool picture of Clint flexing out the
TJ!
I think we could consider that front driver's
side tire "fully stuffed."
He made it!
